Fall 2013 Top Trends From NYFW

Neon

Neon colors were very popular during NYFW, especially in the many long coats that were very popular on the runway this week.  These long, neon coats are the perfect statement piece for Fall 2013!

Metallics are everywhere right now and it looks like this trend will continue into the fall. 

 The Suit

Suits are always a must-have for the business women, but the style of suit is continuously changing.  This fall we can expect to see a lot of black and white suits with a skirt and structured jacket to match.

I remember when wearing all white used to be something to make fun of.  Well not anymore! This whiteout trend is very popular and is absolutely nothing to make fun of anymore!

 Textures

Many different types of textures hit the runways this past week; this includes furs, alpaca, long hairs, quilted leather, and more.

Of course, there are more trends from the runway for Fall RTW, but these are my favorites! There were other trends such as grungy hair and big hair from the 70's, but that's just not my style.  I love the classy, yet modern looks and, to me, the grungy looks just make a girl appear homeless and like she needs to shower. Gross!!
